- A Google User Review added: 2018.12.05★ ★ ★ ★ ★Superb! I have stayed at the Oak Lodge B&B a few times and I have to say I can't fault it. The place is always extremely clean and the owner, Debbie is always welcoming.
The rooms are set in a small block overlooking a lovely well kept garden with a conservatory style lounge area, free Wi-Fi, a DIY breakfast kitchen always well stocked with basic 'continental' breakfast items. I have to admit that I sometimes prefer a cooked breakfast but considering the competitive room rates I can't complain, after all there is a Tesco as well as other places near by to get that cooked breakfast. There is also a flat screen TV in each room and the decor is modern and well appointed plus the choice of two toilet/shower rooms either end of the main corridor. There is also adequate off road parking.
I really like the place as it is set in quiet country surroundings and for me, the perfect 'home from home' to relax after a hard days work.
